"Sharp Desire"

The dark sultriness of Vampi and a photo series of an Italian actress (can't remember her name!) went so well together that I sat down and created this 11x17 pencil piece all in one sitting.  Who wouldn't want to be bitten? Completed 10/14/2001.

A young Marilyn, circa her first Playboy shot.  I just love satin, don't you?  I was sketching one day and the face popped out.  It looked perfect horizontally and the rest followed immediately.  Completed October 30th, 2001.
