"The Power of Pulchritude"

This commission piece was for the early 90's Justice League Europe version of Powergirl.

The big secret:  I posed for this one myself.   Do you have any idea how uncomfortable that easy relaxed-looking position is?

It was done in finished pencils on 11x17 Blueline art board and completed on 10/28.

"Get a Grip!"

Another commission piece from my favorite catfight fan!

Batgirl and Catwoman mix it up once again, this time revealing a little more than just their animosity for each other!

This one was done in finished pencils on 11x17 Blueline art board and completed on 10/31.

"Daughter of Cain"

I'm surprised that more artists aren't doing pinups of this great new Batman character!

I think Cain's daughter will be around for quite awhile - it would just be nice to know what her name is!

Done in finished pencils on 11x17 Blueline art board and completed  11/5.  Sold on eBay.

"Study of Contrast"

My attempt to copy the current reigning master of the "photo-realistic" style in comics - Alex Ross.

This "Kingdom Come" Wonder Woman is directly based on the sketch Alex did for the Kingdom Come trading cards (Sketch card #2 to be precise).

I want to point out that this is NOT a trace!   Compare it carefully with the original and you'll find lots of minor changes.

Done for commission in finished pencils on 11x17 Blueline art board and completed 11/7.

"Ding-ee Blonde"

Anyone remember Liberty Belle from the All-Star Squadron?  I wanted to play with a golden age character, and the recent All-Star 80-Page Giant featured Liberty Belle in a story with Wonder Woman, Phantom Lady, and Red Tornado.

First, I stayed away from doing a pinup of Ma Hunkle for obvious reasons.  Second, I've just recently done some Wonder Woman stuff.   Last, Phantom Lady was just recently posted on eBay from a really fine fellow artist - so I wanted to avoid repetition there.

The result was my take on Liberty Belle, done in finished pencils on 11x17 Blueline art board and sold on eBay 11/27.
